Field notes
Eleven jackets and one bad shoulder seam

The first Ninebark jackets were sewn in a rented shop off Huffine Lane. There were eleven of them. Eight went to people who hunted with us, and we wore the other three through a full elk season and a late whitetail rut.
Returns
Two came back. The shoulder seam on the Ridgeline pulled where a pack strap rides, and the hood wouldn't clear a ball cap. We changed the pattern, moved the seam two inches forward, and put a heavier bar tack at the strap point. That revision is the jacket on this page.
Now
We still cut in Bozeman and we still field-test through a full season before anything gets a price. Nine pieces made it this year. Four didn't, and they'll sit in the back room until they're right.
